Energy infrastructure & solutions
Reliable and accessible energy is critical to long-term growth, from powering industry to supporting digital infrastructure.
Why energy
Energy is fundamental to economic progress. From powering industries and supporting digital infrastructure to enabling the transition towards more sustainable economies, reliable and accessible energy remains critical to long-term growth.
At Perintis Akal, we see energy as both an essential economic enabler and a strategic area of opportunity. Building on our experience in international energy supply engagements, we are pursuing opportunities in renewable energy, particularly solar, alongside potential participation in liquefied natural gas (LNG) importation and supply.
Our energy focus

Prospective importation and supply, with licensing and commercial partners.
As economies seek to diversify their energy mix, renewable energy is becoming an increasingly important part of industrial competitiveness and long-term energy resilience.
Perintis Akal is exploring opportunities in solar energy development, renewable power sourcing and strategic partnerships that can support the growing energy requirements of businesses and industries.

We are evaluating opportunities for LNG importation and supply in Malaysia, including the relevant regulatory licensing and commercial partnerships. Our focus is on practical, compliant and commercially viable arrangements that connect international energy supply with domestic market requirements.
Our experience · Bangladesh LNG engagement
In 2023, Perintis Akal was named in Bangladesh's government-backed LNG procurement programme as a prospective supplier to Petrobangla. The proposed arrangement, involving up to one million metric tonnes annually, advanced through government approval processes and received international industry coverage.
Although commercial deliveries did not materialise, the engagement reflects our experience in developing and advancing international energy supply opportunities and in engaging with institutional counterparties.
The bigger picture · Energy enables infrastructure
Digital infrastructure and energy are increasingly interconnected. As demand for artificial intelligence, cloud computing and high-performance computing grows, access to reliable power is becoming an increasingly important factor in infrastructure development.
Our involvement in both sectors builds a broader understanding of infrastructure requirements, energy availability and long-term commercial resilience.
Our energy ambitions extend beyond data centres to serve wider industrial and economic needs.
