Dato' Sri Idris Jala
President & Chairman, PEMANDU Group
Dato' Sri Idris Jala is widely recognised for his leadership in public and private sector transformation, having held senior leadership roles in both government and industry.
As the former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department and Chief Executive Officer of the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), he played a central role in Malaysia's Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).
Prior to his public service, he served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airlines, where he led a major business turnaround, following a distinguished career with Shell.
Through PEMANDU Associates, he has continued to champion transformation and implementation initiatives internationally. As President of the PEMANDU Group, he provides strategic leadership and direction, reinforcing the group's commitment to its founding philosophy of Big Fast Results.
Nishan MPR Veera Kumar
Partner & Managing Director, Perintis Akal
Nishan MPR Veera Kumar brings extensive experience in strategy execution, transformation management and the delivery of complex public and private sector initiatives.
He was part of the leadership team at Malaysia's Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), where he served as Head of the Programme Management Team in the Prime Minister's Department, supporting the implementation and monitoring of national transformation priorities. He subsequently became the first Chief Operating Officer of PEMANDU Associates, contributing to the organisation's international expansion and the delivery of transformation engagements across multiple markets.
As Partner and Managing Director of Perintis Akal, Nishan is leading the company's evolution into infrastructure development, with a primary focus on data centres and digital infrastructure, alongside emerging opportunities in energy. His approach draws on strategic clarity, stakeholder alignment, disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.
